I'm sorry for compromising Gospel music, confesses Bahati

Gospel artist Bahati.
Gospel singer Bahati has gone on his knees to confess what he has been doing in the Gospel music industry.
The Barua hit owner has shown his remorse feeling towards the contribution he has on the decaying Gospel music industry.
In a post on his Instagram account, Bahati confessed that he and other Kenyan gospel musicians have deviated from spreading the word of God and instead were promoting worldly pleasures.
We are sorry for letting down the Gospel of Christ‼️ I personally feel & accept that as "Bahati" I have not Represented Jesus & the Gospel Music as God expects. I know this might not be the best platform to speak exactly this but We all Know that the public has lost trust in Gospel Musicians," the post read.
"I have been focusing on hit songs, scandals and headlines," Bahati added.
He continued that the last Gospel music he did was Barua back in 2014. "Nimechangia sana kupaka jina la yesu matope" said the award-winning Gospel artist.
He, however, promised to change and represent Jesus fully. Bahati's confession comes at a time when Kenyans are lamenting on the decaying of the gospel industry.
